Are we waiting for something that has already happened ?

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Mat 16:27  For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Mat 16:28  Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
(some  consider this as a baffling statement, but hasn't this already happened, even written about in the bible? did the Apostles not see Jesus after his resurrection ? his second comming)

Jhn 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
(Is not the day of judgment with us every day? we seem to be expecting more from Jesus than was promised, did he not say his job was finished, did he not ask us not to pray to him, expecting him to pass it on)

Jhn 17:4  I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Jhn 19:30  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
(I don't know how it could be more plainly spoken)

1Cr 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Cr 15:23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.   (but every man in his own order)
1Cr 15:24 Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1Cr 15:25  For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
1Cr 15:26  The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death.
  (didn't that happen already?)
1Cr 15:27  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1Cr 15:28  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
1Cr 15:29  Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
1Cr 15:30  And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
(another baffling verse, to some, but not really, What Paul said here is "if Jesus was not raised from death, why be baptized into a dead person") (if Jesus was not raised, none of us will be)
Hbr 10:12  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Hbr 10:13  From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
Hbr 10:14  For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
